Participate in a Cyber Security Panel discussion about protecting your events (and yourself) in this time of bots, spam and other cyber issues! The panel will be moderated by Rachel Pettys, CGMP - Federal Field Marketing Manager, GuidePoint Security.

Rachel has been a SGMP NATCAP member for 4 years. She has over 12 years in the Hospitality Industry, Rachel has planned over 500+ events for the Military and Government Agencies. As a logistical contractor for the Army for the past 5 years, Rachel worked closely with Major General, Thomas Solhjem, Chief of Chaplains and his team at the Pentagon, planning resiliency training events for Soldiers and their families. During her time as a contractor, Rachel created and developed the Event Managers Course, an event planning model, which she taught to Soldiers all over the world who seek to be certified in Event Planning.

Now, as the Federal Field Marketing Manager for GuidePoint Security, a Cybersecurity Value Added Reseller, Rachel spends her time managing the Federal Region of her company, marketing the best cyber products and services to Government Agencies to keep our Country free from hackers. Her duties include planning events & tradeshows, creating blogs, on-demand webinars, managing budget, logistics and a team of 17 Account Executives and more.
