Each SGMP membership requires a single individual representative who will receive the rights and benefits of membership in our Society. Our membership, therefore, is comprised of individuals and not agencies or companies (but more than one individual at any organization may be a member). Each member in any category has one of two membership types: individual or organizational. This differentiation in type pertains only to how to handle a membership transfer. You can check out membership ownership for more details on SGMP's website.
An "individual" membership is paid for (and belongs to) the individual and remains with that individual regardless of their place of employment; it is not transferable to another individual.
An "organizational" membership is paid for (and belongs to) the company/agency employing the individual and remains with that organization; the organization may transfer it to another individual.
