Session Topic:The Five Areas of Focus for the Amazing Meeting Professional

In the spirit of being an amazing meeting professional, this keynote speech focuses on the five areas to focus on in being simply amazing. The beginning of the session includes defining the amazing meeting professional and then examining each characteristic that supports that awesomeness; to include mindset, resilience, ability to connect with others, and finally, holding both self-care and self-development (not just technical development) as a priority in one’s life. The participant will walk away from this session inspired and with actionable strategies to become an even more amazing meeting professional.

Session Objectives

  • Awareness of one’s perceptions and strategies for changing those that are limiting.
  • Strategies for increasing mental and emotional flexibility as well as handling frustration.
  • Tactics for examining one’s network and strategically expanding it.
  • Ways to make one’s self-care a priority to accomplish more.
  • Approaches to developing oneself to get where they desire more quickly.

 

Breakout Sessions

 

Breakout sessions will provide an opportunity to learn from a variety of presenters on topics including:
* what you need to know before recertifying your CMP and/or CGMP designation;
* how to select and work with an event app provider;
* using online media to assist you in your career development;
* an exhibitor training session;
* ethics guidelines for the government meetings market; and
* more!

Exhibiting

A limited number of 6' tables are available for suppliers to host networking meet & greets during the lunch and reception.  
   
The member-exhibitor fee is $399 before March 15th and includes:
* registration for one supplier to attend the entire Expo
* one dedicated 6' table for lunch and reception
* listing in exhibitor catalogue
* registered meeting planner data
*  additional exhibitor during lunch and reception at the rate of $100
   
On March 16th, registration will
* increase for member-exhibitors to $499

Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation to attend the NATCAP Expo. The DoubleTree Crystal City is located just three blocks from the Pentagon City Metro Station located on the blue/yellow line.

Self Parking  
      Day: $13.00 per day plus taxes
   
Hotel parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and therefore is not guaranteed.
