Jesse Strauss

As a senior member of the SA Conference Planning Department (CPD),  Jesse coordinates   conferences and events for clients including the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).   Jesse has over fourteen (14) years’ experience planning government meetings.  As an active member of NATCAP, Jesse was awarded Meeting Planner of the Year for 2014.   She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, 3 young children and chocolate labrador.

Erika Noyes

PSA, Inc.

Erika has over 18 years of meeting planning experience throughout the industry. She has focused primarily on government meetings for the past 13 years. As a Senior Meeting Planner at PSA, her clients include the HHS Office of Minority Health, NIH and the Ida P. Rolf Research Foundation. She has been an active member of NATCAP since 2009. She lives in South Riding, VA with her husband, young daughter and Tessie, the poodle.


Peggy Thomas

General Dynamics Information

Peg Thomas is a Meetings Director for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). She currently supports the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE).

Ms. Thomas began her career in meeting management while working for the U.S. Army's MRMC and for the TRICARE Management Activity.  She worked as a project manager overseeing conferences and information technology Information, including website development. Her expertise in the execution of meetings has made her a leader in her profession.  In addition, she provides guidance to agencies asking for assistance with new policies and regulations and meeting logistics. Ms. Thomas has received numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional work for small high profile and technical meetings to large conferences. Ms.Thomas is committed and dedicated  to improving the healthcare and promote wellness of the warfighter and for helping the lives of the post deployed veterans by working in this arena for the past 20 years.

Ms. Thomas holds a Certified Government  Meeting Professional (CGMP) Certification and the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification. Ms. Thomas also volunteers on NATCAP Community Outreach Program and has chaired events. The last successful event was where she led a team to create a menu and serve dinner to children and their families at the NIH Children's Inn in Rockville, Maryland.         

Ms. Thomas volunteers her time to new companies seeking assistance on how to get started and networks with such businesses to identify those companies that can provide quality work at an affordable price.  Ms. Thomas has also worked with community partnerships that help the homeless community.

Cheryl Gordon

B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group

Cheryl has been working in the Hospitality industry for the last 27 years, with the last 13 years focused on the Government market segment, where she has developed many cherished relationships that she hopes will benefit our Chapter. Presently Cheryl works for the B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group representing their 15 DC Metro Area Hotels in the position of Regional Director of Government Sales.   Cheryl lives in Arlington with her adorable Yorkie Benny. She has 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
